Te Rau Pou Manawa O Kawakawa Kapa Haka Haerenga.
On Tuesday 31 tamariki traveled down to Tainui, Hamilton to go and support Te Rau Pou Manawa O Kawakawa. It took us all day to get down to the marae. The marae that we stayed at was Te Aratiatia marae at fair field college. As soon as we got to the marae we had the powhiri outside. Later on we went to the marae that Te Rau Pou Manawa O Kawakawa was staying at and had another powhiri and our dinner. Finally we were at our marae getting our beds ready to go to bed for the big day. On Wednesday all the tamariki got up and started to get ready into our school uniform. As we arrived at the venue I started to get butterfly's because I was nervous for them. Well we were getting seated whaea Toni started taking photos of us. 5-10 minutes later they finally started and so we had to wait until the first group finished because our school was on next. As our school stood on the stage me and Tuishaly yell out go Tamarah, go Betty! As they start the waiata I felt proud of our school up their representing our school. Later the roopu had finished and we got out of the seats and walked out well waiting for TRPM to come outside. Finally they arrived and our supporting group did a haka tautoko. But then we hade to wait longer cause we had to wait For Tamarah and Xavier to came out and so then they did come out and TRPM and and all of us did another haka tautoko. Then about 10-20 minutes later we leave to go back to school. At school everyone was happy to be back and still to this day we think TRPM is still the best.
