Being Cybersmart

I strongly agree that being cyber smart is very important because if your not careful you might end up with something called a virus and this occurs by: opening unknown emails, clicking on links to something unknown or something rude will get into even more trouble. For example most spam mails have links to them that download your personal information so they can hack into your account, if your on something your not supposed to be on and your under age  and someone finds out they could report you to the principle and you could get to a lot of trouble. These are examples why you have to use your device very wisely and be careful what you go on. Also be mature online and what you share because it might be something you want to share at the time but might not want it there forever.

ALL ABOUT ME

Kia ora my names Havahna and I go to Bay of Islands college. I have 6 siblings and 2 parents. I’m the second youngest child in my family. My favourite things to do is: travel, arts and crafts, sketching, drawing and painting. On my dads side his mum's dad was from England and his dad was from Germany. On my mum’s side her dad was from Samoa and her mum’s a Maori. I'm good at dancing and art. I enjoy relaxing and watching movies. My challenges are: getting my work done on time, maths, getting to school on time and listening. My goals for this year are: get good grades, learn my 6,7 & 8 times tables and to listen more.

SLJ ( Taika Waititi )

Yesterday we were doing Summer Learning Journey. We had to research on Taika Waititi and we have found some interesting facts like that he is a director, filmmaker, actor and comedian.

SLJ activity (pepeha)

Today we were working on a pepeha website where we can create our own pepeha  and today we have to find facts on Taika Waititi (Also known as Taika Cohen) And the facts we know already is that he was a movie director, filmmaker, actor and comedian. I know that he was boys dad on the movie "Boy" and he also play the rock man on "Thor Ragnarok"

I still wouldn't do the SLJ cause it just takes up to much of my holiday time, but I would  recommend it if you like doing work and if you want something to do.

SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY (LORDE)

Today we have been doing a summer learning journey on Lorde. The reason why we have to find fact on Lorde is because this is giving us a taste of what the SLJ is like. In my mind I will never do this because it takes to long and takes up all of my holidays but I would do this to help with my learning like with my writing skills and reading and it might be fun for yous.
